The ST-Link V2– is an in-circuit debugger programmer for the STM32 and STM8 family of microcontrollers. The debugger connects to the controllers using the JTAG/SWD/SWIM interface. It has the following features: step-by-step code execution, breakpoints, register and variable viewing. The programmer supports all types of STM8 controllers via the SWIM interface and STM32 via the SWD interface. Works in Full speed mode. Connects to a PC via a USB interface; in the OS it is defined as a virtual Com Port. The device is equipped with an LED indication, thanks to which you can see what mode the device is in. The connector also has power pins with voltages of 3.3 V and 5 V to power programmable microcontrollers. For convenience, the programmer body is marked with connector terminal designations. ST-Link V2 is supported in most popular programming environments.
